He, age 64, was listed with as the father of Harvey Sorrell on the 1910 census of Hamilton Ward of Butler Co, OH. Note that Elisha's wife, Arena Curry is also found in this census, living in next door Hamilton County, OH as head of a household. This is one of the small mysteries one runs into in genealogy. Whether in fact Elisha and Arena were actually living together in 1910 and Elisha was just visiting his son in another county or whether they were actually living apart is not known to this observer. He, age 74, was listed with Walter Shingledecker as his father in law on the 1920 census of Butler County, OH. Walter Shingledecker had married Clara Sorrell, Elisha's daughter in 1916.
